Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)
We want to help people encounter Christ.
The Lord Jesus asked us to pray that His kingdom would come and His will would be done (Matthew 6:9ff). In Revelation 21 we get an idea of what this should look like…
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
We want to see Heaven on earth – we desire to see all Heaven break loose. We desire to be a place where God’s Holy Spirit dwells and the supernatural is evident as we yield deeper to His presence.
We long for the lost to be saved, the broken hearted to be healed, the blind to see, the lame to walk, those trapped in darkness to be set free to the Father's glory in the mighty name of Jesus. (Isaiah 61:1-3)
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
